Doug Payne
Doug is a principal in Sutor, Krystad & Rosenfeld, PLLC, the accounting firm within The Sutor Group. He has over 21 years of accounting and consulting experience, of which nearly 10 years relates to servicing the construction industry.
Doug’s areas of expertise include:
- Financial statement audits, reviews and compilations
- Corporate and personal tax services
- Surety and fidelity claim investigations
- Accounting systems and controls consulting
Since joining the Sutor Group in 1996, Doug has worked closely with contractors of all sizes and specialties to meet their accounting and consulting needs. He has managed audits and review engagements for clients with multi-state operations, and he has experience with complex financial statement presentations including consolidations, business combinations and other unique financial reporting requirements. Doug has performed claim investigations and other forensic accounting services for several national construction sureties and insurance companies. He has also worked closely with other members of the Sutor Group in the preparation or defense of construction contract claims.
Doug earned his B.A. in Business Administration in 1992 from the University of Colorado. He has been a CPA in the state of Washington since 1996, and became a principal of Sutor, Krystad & Rosenfeld in 2004.
