Jordan Rosenfeld
Jordan Rosenfeld manages the Washington offices of Sutor, Krystad & Rosenfeld, PLLC and is a member of The Sutor Group. Jordan works extensively on litigation support, surety and financial statement engagements for The Sutor Group. Jordan is a seasoned practitioner with over 42 years of accounting experience, over 34 of which were focused exclusively on the construction industry. His expertise includes surety and fidelity claim investigations, expert witness testimony, preparation of assertive contractor claims and termination for convenience settlement proposals, business planning and budgeting, financial workouts, implementation of accounting and project management systems, and financial statement and tax return preparation.
Prior to joining The Sutor Group, Jordan was employed as Accounting Manager in the Claims Department of Reliance Surety Company. At Reliance he managed the accounting of surety claims and fidelity claims, including the determination of reserve requirements, analysis of contractors systems and personnel, budgeting of anticipated completion costs and monitoring claim expenditures. Jordan also has served as controller for a mid-sized mechanical contractor.
Jordan has supervised surety services for The Sutor Group for the last seventeen years. As Managing Member of Sutor, Krystad & Rosenfeld he directs all services provided to a clientele that includes many of the leading surety companies throughout the nation.
Jordan has a B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts and is a certified public accountant in the states of Washington, California, Alaska and Hawaii. He is a member of the National Bond Claims Association, a board member and Co-president of the Construction Financial Managers Association (Puget Sound Chapter), an organizer of the Western States Surety Conference and a regular speaker on surety claims and construction accounting issues at industry conferences.
