The Sutor Group is one of only a few firms in the western United States with significant experience with the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and in the preparation of termination proposals and management of termination claims. While most of the practice has been in partial or complete termination of Federal projects, The Sutor Group has also had substantial experience in the non-Federal arena as well.

• Federal partial and complete termination proposals pursuant to FAR Part 49
• Coordination of subcontractor terminations, settlement costs, proposal preparation with prime contractors
• Preparation of “total cost” and “inventory method” termination proposals pursuant to FAR Part 49.
• Determination of “allocability” and “allowability” issues pursuant to FAR requirements
• Evaluation and preparation of Request for Equitable Adjustment to non-terminated portion of contract related to elimination of terminated work scope and events pursuant to FAR Part 49.
• Preparation of cost impacts relating to loss of “learning curve” benefit resulting from terminated work.
• Assistance and management of contract negotiations with the TCO (Termination Contracting Officer).
