The Sutor Group was engaged by Cree and their subcontractor to quantify the damages relating to project changes as they affected Cree Construction's roofing and drywall work. We prepared a detailed analysis of the claim quantification. The final claim amount totaled approximately $409,000.
The work involved interior metal stud wall framing, installation of gypsum wall board and installation of membrane roof system.
Defective plans and specifications. Unreasonable delay in processing design clarification requests.
Disruption to construction sequence resulting in labor inefficiency. Primary impacts were to roofing, wall framing and wall board installation. Additional costs resulting from work in adverse weather conditions. Winterization costs. Extended contract performance costs for field and home office overhead.
