The Sutor Group was engaged by Baugh Construction to assist in the preparation of a price proposal for equitable adjustment. Our claim quantification impacts totaled $2,335,861.
The contract was for the construction of "Science Facility Two - Biology" on the Western Washington University Bellingham campus. The scope of work consisted of constructing a new building including the site work. The building is a four story 80,000 square foot cast in place facade and an adjoining three story aluminum curtain wall enclosed office structure. The building serves as a biology instruction facility including laboratories and research classrooms.
Differing site conditions encountered in the foundation excavation which had an effect on subsequent activities, manifesting itself in disruptions and resequencing foundation and other follow on work.
Labor and equipment impacts resulting from disruption and changes in work sequence. Both extended field and home office overhead impacts.
